Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Vigo (“Vigo”, “we”, “us”), a facilities maintenance work-order and dispatch service based in Houston, Texas, collects through vigofm.com and our dispatch messages, and how we use it.
Information we collect
- Clients: business contact details and the locations, addresses and maintenance requests you send us.
- Vendors and contractors: business name, contact name, email address and mobile phone number, collected when you are onboarded as one of our vendors.
- Work order activity: when you use a work order link, the technician name you enter, check-in and check-out times, photos, invoices and notes you upload, and, only if you allow it in your browser, your location at check-in and check-out.
- Staff accounts: name, email and sign-in information for people who use the Vigo app.
- Technical data: basic server logs (such as IP address, browser type and pages requested) kept by our hosting provider for security and troubleshooting.
How we use information
We use information to create and manage work orders, dispatch jobs to vendors, confirm that work was done, process vendor invoices, keep clients updated, and run and secure our service. We do not sell personal information.
SMS / text messaging
- We collect mobile phone numbers from vendors and contractors when they are onboarded as our vendors. By providing a mobile number, the vendor agrees to receive work order dispatch text messages from Vigo Dispatch Alerts.
- Mobile numbers are used only to send work order dispatch notifications, such as a new job assigned to you with a link to the work order. We do not send marketing or promotional text messages.
- No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile information and SMS opt-in consent are not shared with or sold to any third parties. Information may be shared only with the service providers that deliver our messages (for example, our SMS carrier provider), solely to send them.
- Message frequency varies with the number of jobs dispatched to you. Message and data rates may apply.
- Reply STOP to any message to opt out. Reply HELP for help, or email dispatch@vigofm.com.
Sharing
We share information only as needed to provide the service: work order details with the vendor assigned to that job, job status, photos and invoices with the client who requested the work, and data with service providers who host our app, store files and deliver email and text messages for us. We may also disclose information if required by law.
Work order links
Each work order link is private and unguessable, and opens only that one work order. Anyone who has the link can view it, so please do not share it outside your crew. Links are not indexed by search engines and can be revoked by Vigo at any time.
Retention and security
We keep work order records for as long as needed for our business and legal obligations. Files are stored in private storage and served through short-lived links. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect information.
Your choices
You can opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP. To ask about, correct or delete your information, email dispatch@vigofm.com.
Changes
We may update this policy. The effective date above shows when it last changed.
